Description

With 100 easy-to-hard puzzles in a sleek, striking design, the forest green and cream edition of The New York Times Classic Crossword Puzzles is the perfect gift or keepsake for any crossword lover. Its sturdy, journal-style packaging with a ribbon marker and removable jacket makes it simple to solve in style wherever you go.

“The New York Times Classic Crossword Puzzles” challenges puzzlers with 100 conundrums and contains high-quality paper so you can write answers with pen or pencil.

Its cloth ribbon marker helps you keep your place so you can easily return to the puzzle you're working on. The removable cover band leaves a discreet and sophisticated hardcover book with rounded corners and charming crossword grid pattern.

All puzzles were originally printed in The Times and edited by Will Shortz, the top two names in crosswords.

Will Shortz has been crossword editor of The Times since 1993 — only the fourth puzzle editor in the newspaper’s history. He is the author or editor of more than 500 books. He is also the director of the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, which he founded in 1978, and NPR’s puzzle master for “Weekend Edition Sunday” since 1987. He founded the World Puzzle Championship in 1992 and co-founded the World Puzzle Federation in 1999.
