This is one of the nicest address books I’ve ever seen. I had been keeping my Christmas card list on the computer, but it’s sometimes convenient, as I don’t always like to be on it. So, I decided to go back to old-fashioned convenience. I love the size because I don’t have to write everything so small. The 9" x 6.3" x 1" allow for the bigger text offering easy readability, which is ALWAYS the number 1 goal!The cover is very nice & I actually love the leather color, too. It is a faux leather, so not overly soft, but for the price, it is totally fine! It’s very sturdy. I do like the gold embossing; it’s very nice & adds an eloquent touch. I also have to say that I really appreciate the size of the text! I was a teacher & used to teach every business subject there was. Desktop Publishing was a class that taught how to design documents, hard copy or online, to be visually appealing. The goal is easy readability with typography, graphic design, page layout, and image manipulation, when involved. Many people today make the mistake of having text that is too small & having way too much ‘white space’ regardless of the color of the page. No one needs to strain their eyes when it’s exceedingly obvious that there’s plenty of space, and the text could easily be made larger! Whoever designed this address book would get an A+ from me!They really put some time & thought into what to put on the page! It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen the years listed to track sending & receiving cards. I especially love that there’s enough extra room to add plenty more years!I will also compliment the color choice of the pages, like an eggshell, as opposed to a bright white. As a business teacher, I was aware of many things, including that this color is one of the kindest colors for the eyes! Excellent choice! Also, I love the thick pages. They will hold up better over the years, and a definitely not likely to rip easily. The pages are easy to write on & take ink nicely.I totally love that the rings that hold the pages are strong. There are small silver tabs on each side to push down and open what would otherwise be very difficult to open. This would be especially important for someone a bit older, or even younger, who may not have the strength to open the rings without those tabs.I would highly recommend this address book to anyone. It would also make, as another person suggested, a wonderful gift for any occasion from housewarming, birthday, Christmas, or even a wedding gift.
